Day One Hundred!

WHAT… I made it to a big milestone! 100, that’s a good one, only 265 more to go not too shabby. I love this shape although the image is a bit shallow. Again, I need to dedicate a bit more time but it’s crazy how long a piece can take, hours and when you don’t really have it to spare it almost becomes a burden. I’m trying very hard to keep this a project I am excited to be doing and thus I have a lot of days where the images are only partially complete to my liking. Anyway, enjoy and I will see you tomorrow!

Day Ninety-Eight!

Love this! I’m sure it could use a bit more depth but I was very content with the current state of things. I’m just trying to catch up a bit on the images since I had such a busy weekend. Weddings, family cookouts, working and Open Studios, I’m surprised I did as much as I have! Anyway, Enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow!

Day Ninety-Four!

These are a bunch of images I am touching up to part of a bigger project I am working on. These when finished will be a few of the pages of my book. I loved being able to take the sketches I drew in my journal and transfer them into something more “important” or official. Just a quick reminder, HULL OPEN STUDIOS this Sunday from 10-5.  Stop by and say hello I would love the chance to get to talk to people in person about the works.  Anyway, enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow!

Day Ninety-Two!

Not exactly my best night, but I seem to be building a group of images to use in the book I’m creating out of all my non-favorites! I would really love for the book to be my 100th post but god that’s only 8 posts away and really intimidating. Anyway, I have heard people talking about open studios and I am getting pretty excited. The only thing that is somewhat of a downer is I am only doing the Sunday date for July and I am WAY down in the village, not exactly the first stop for most studio tour goers. Fingers crossed! I would love to pay back some of the money I spent on framing for the images I submitted for the Cohasset Art Center! Alright, Have a goodnight, see you tomorrow!

Day Eighty-Seven!

Another late night Thursday posting. I wish I could get into the habit of working on pieces in the morning and posting at a reasonable hour but it just doesn’t seem to be my style. Anyway, back at the acrylics, loving the end results. I’ve had a few comments about the color and the richness which has been kind of nice to hear. On another note, OPEN STUDIOS is creeping up on me. July 8th which is a Sunday I will be showing artwork at my studio in Hull, MA. Please visit http://www.hullartists.com for more information. I always love doing open studios, not even because it gives me the opportunity to sell some of my work but really it gives me a deadline and me and deadlines work REALLY well together. Day Eighty-Three!

Today was a crazy weather day, I feel like we had like 3 seasons all in a matter of hours. After work it was gorgeous so I set out with miss BooBoo (my dog) and the next thing I know the sky is opening up and it is raining like crazy. So me and Boo booked it back to the house just in time for the power to go out. I decided that it was a great time to start painting my image for the day since I wasn’t about to be doing much else. I really like the painting, I just kept watching it grow outwards. I can’t wait to try this again. Anyway Enjoy and I will see you tomorrow!

Day Eighty!

Woohoo, I love hitting the milestones, although I never really intended 80 to be one of them. I do appologize for posting these at totally random times and stuff but my schedule is mad and I have been doing what I can do. This was a stress reliever, I was super overwhelmed and when I feel that way I always draw webs because I love them. Anyway enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow!

Day Sixty-Three!

Was able to pull this one off, a quick fix and I’m off for the day. Ready to take on the bridal craziness at work that is going to occur and then to town to put on my dance shoes! Enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow!
