Not quite 3 x 3 but who is really paying that much attention?

It’s Tayto! Looking quite dapper if I don’t say so myself and he is Blue. Tayto has a way of staring uncontrollably at a person to the point of awkwardness. Luckily, being that he is a dog its not quite as weird as if the human next to you stared for a solid 5 minutes. Imagine how strange that would be.

Anyway, he was just sitting so still I decided to sketch him out. Naturally I had a highlighter near by so he became a blue Pomeranian. After sketching Tayto I felt as if he needed a little something, a chair, a pillow, maybe a thrown if he had his way. He acts pretty entitled like a Royal might, really he is just a moody little thing but I love him all the same.

Three Hundred and Sixty-Three!

This image looks as if Lady Boo Boo (my dog) did Shrooms. Just for all the animal lovers out there I did not give my dog drugs, I just painted her in a landscape that is somewhat hallucinogenic. I started this image a while ago and have been slowly developing it. It still feels unfinished but unfortunately for me I have a deadline and you do what you can. I can always rework it later. Two Hundred Fifty-Five!

Meet Buddy, the most perfect Chocolate lab in the whole wide world. He isn’t my dog but everytime I get to see him he brightens up my day. As I mentioned with the image of Tayto, I need to build my library of images of dogs. I love working on images of animals but I will say I still struggle with perspective and depth within the image. Two Hundred Fifty-Three!

Its Tayto! Recently I was approached by a few people who were looking to have images of their dogs made into art pieces. Now granted it’s just a portrait but I need to start building a library of images to show these potential customers. On that note, I decided to draw Tayto yawning. One Hundred Seventy-Eight, Seventy-Nine, Eighty!

So as some of you might already know, I have SO not been posting and this is due to two separate factors. One and the most influential has been moving house and two has been a lack of time management. Now that we have been settled for a couple of weeks now I’m hoping to get back into some kind of schedule since that seems to be such a competing factor with producing artwork. This weekend, Lee and I took off down to Hull so he could do some repairs while I took some time to regroup. The following three images are by far not more normal type of imagery, but I was kind of just drawing what I wanted. Halloween is around the corner and I think that was influential as well as Miss. Gracie’s surgery. The result is Miss Gracie wearing a ridiculous donut around her head which I of course interpreted it as one of those clown collar things. Enjoy, and I’ll see you next time.
