I had a chance to sit at a park today and just sketch, it was progressing very slowly and thus never was really finished but this is it so far. I really enjoyed drawing away from my drawing table. Oddly enough even with the horrible rainy weather outside I found it more inspiring then the basement. Enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow.

Another day, another drawing. Had to switch to primarily drawing materials since I am officially out of Watercolor paper and won’t be buying any until my next paycheck, so expect a few regular drawings. It will probably be a much-needed change even if it is just for a week. Looking forward to tomorrow although getting my drawing done will be a bit complicated. Just a quickie after work! Not too crazy about this image but it will do for today. I loved how it looked before I added the pen and once I added the pen I just kept adding… it is kind of like word vomit but in painting/drawing terms. Well enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow!
Wow! Day sixty, big deal nearly to 65 and at that point there will only be 300 more to go…. I just don’t know. As of right now I have a wonderful stack of images I have created over the last two months and I can only imagine what could be in that pile in 305 more days. Imagine! Anyway, today was a bit of a different approach than the last two days. I honestly just didn’t have as much time but I wanted to just draw a shape using the rocks as my guide. Busy day today and although I had big plans to sit in a cafe and draw today, missing clothing and cut fingers made that a bit more difficult. Lets just say that by 10 am this morning I was already set for bed, never mind the entire day to follow. Anyway this was a complete free for all. A bit of a combination of drawing and painting. It felt really liberating and I think that the freedom of the work is very visible. It is far from what I would consider a completed work but I am very excited about the pencil lines showing though all over the place. Anyway, enjoy and I will see you tomorrow!
Today is a basic image kind of day. Started my drawing when I woke up because in all honesty if I didn’t do it then, then it wasn’t going to happen. I’m at the Source today and after work there will of course be drinks with my girls from up this way. That in itself means nothing productive will happen after. Anyway, everyday is its own thing and all I ask from each day is to get into a drawing even if it is only for a short while. I can tell you that when I got home from work all I wanted to do was sleep, but I was super excited to see my sister and her family who arrived back from Florida today! We had been watching their two puppies so once they headed home tonight we were down to four dogs, that’s nothing once you have had six puppies! Anyway I worked from 10 to 8 today and started drawing around 9:30… I needed to finish something rather quickly mainly because I am meeting a friend at 6:45 in the morning to go to the gym and let’s be honest who REALLY wants to wake up at like 5:45am to get out of the house in time to go to the gym. I honestly am excited to get my workout in early but the sooner I head to bed the better. As for drawing, I was delighted to have worked on something today. I also filled out my application for Open Studios, which is always a good time. Now to get some of my finished works framed! EXCITING! Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow!
feels like a milestone today! Funny how since I started this challenge every day seems like a milestone for its own particular reason whether it be the actual numerical day or because I am shocked that I actually got something posted! Regardless, I am happy with what I have been doing. Today’s post is coming a bit late but better late than never. I spent the day working, then a wonderful 3.5 mile walk/talk with a very good friend followed by some cooking, Shepard’s Pie to be precise, a big hit in the Fogarty household! Anyway, today’s image was a layering process for me I started with one base shape and kept building from there. What it did make me realize is that I think I want to try this concept in color so watercolor here I come… Could tomorrow bare color, the world may never know…. until DAY TWENTY ONE!
Today is going to be super long and since I know I won’t have energy to do this later I decided to work on my drawing before work. I love the shape although the image is kinda basic. I won’t lie I just don’t have the time to get into detail. I’m excited for the next few days though nice and “short” days with plenty of time to draw.
For anyone who has been reading these, you are already aware that I have six dogs staying at the house right now and normally when I get home from work I have a chance to sit and clear the head, but for now I have to be with them to try and ware them out since they apparently never run out of energy. Wow that seems like a serious run on. It is funny though watching these crazy animals, they have such personalities. Alright enough about the dogs I’m gonna start sounding like crazy dog lady, forget cats. Time to go I’ll see you tomorrow!
