No time to talk, looks like a vegetable to me! Enjoy Happy fourth of July!!!!
Not exactly my best night, but I seem to be building a group of images to use in the book I’m creating out of all my non-favorites! I would really love for the book to be my 100th post but god that’s only 8 posts away and really intimidating. Anyway, I have heard people talking about open studios and I am getting pretty excited. The only thing that is somewhat of a downer is I am only doing the Sunday date for July and I am WAY down in the village, not exactly the first stop for most studio tour goers. Fingers crossed! I would love to pay back some of the money I spent on framing for the images I submitted for the Cohasset Art Center! Alright, Have a goodnight, see you tomorrow!
This was like a total paint fest on one surface. I wasn’t really feeling anything I was working on and this was actually the scrap piece I had been using. Oddly enough even if it doesn’t end up like this in the end it might make its way into the book I am making with all the images I’m not crazy about. Anyway, Enjoy and I will see you tomorrow!
Today was such a wonderful Sunday, went for a morning bike ride, went to the beach, dinner with the family, and a walk on the sea wall to finish off the day. I was able to dedicate a nice chunk of time to this painting although it is rather small. I’m excited to have been producing these small paintings just before open studios next Sunday. This image is a combination of the shapes I’m working with, as you can probably see, clusters of mushrooms, fins rocks, webs, and petals. See I work on more than just rock images! Anyway, enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow! BTW can we believe it is July already? Mental right!
Funny day for me, not my typical post at all, but this is what I did yesterday. Also, a friend told me it is good to post things like this because she wants people to know I draw more then rocks. Not that that is all I post about but a lot of things resemble rocks I suppose. Anyway, these were a lot of fun to draw, more like a doodle really. Enjoy and Ill see you tomorrow!
