Two Hundred Fifty-One!

image

OK, I think this will be the last post of the evening, I apologize for overloading you all at once but posting for me is not exactly a regular occurrence so I have to take advantage of these moments! Figured I would end it with one of my favorite images too. These two little guys are based off an photo I saw. In saying that its completely my own at this point. IDK why but I love the interaction between them. I almost wish they were a bit closer but that’s a change for the next time I do something like this. Enjoy!

I don’t love this at all, but I did it so it counts! This must have been a feet firmly planted on the ground kind of day. Who knows? Enjoy

Two Hundred Forty-Eight!

So I may have just realized that the last few images have all been rabbit related. I swear that was not intentional, I imagine there is some quality I like about them that makes me want to draw them. Regardless this here rabbit is well a bit more “trippy” I suppose than the others. Welcome to my life, one minute I’m right there with the rest of the world, feet firmly planted on the ground and the next… floating away! On that note, I’m drug free, each to there own but I guess I don’t need them. Enjoy

Two Hundred Forty-Six!

This little guy just kind of happened. As I mentioned before I have been on an animal kick, for what reason I do not know. Regardless, as long as I am happy with the end results, whether it be a final piece or a sketch I’m happy out. My mom of course wants this turned into an Easter card, maybe she will be the sole recipient of this card then! Anyway, enjoy and see you next time.

Two Hundred Forty-Five!

On a completely different note, I started painting these guys one day just kind of out of the blue. You will see if the next few posts that I have been on an animal kick but this really set it off. I want to fill the space but currently this is what I have on this piece and thought I would share.

This little guy might be my favorite, he is so simple and yet captures everything I wanted him too. I really enjoy the texture and color shift in the fur. Anyway, look for the other animals too come and let me know what you think! Enjoy.

Two Hundred Forty-Two

Lions, Tigers, Bears, OH MY. OK so you caught me I’m apparently obsessed with drawing furry creatures, cute ones in particular. Well I suppose that is to be debated, I enjoy a good eccentric animal as well. I recently  attended this presentation of a “wildlife photographer” and I put it in quotes because I personally believe its more like “tourist photography.” I’m not about to name names here, but I can not handle people who talk a load of Bull shit and I did hear a lot of Boloney in this presentation.   What did happen is after hearing him explain how he basically never approached anything up-close since everything plans on eating him, I decided to draw cute fuzzy animals that would love nothing more than to cuddle. Alright enough said, enjoy and see you next time.

Two Hundred Forty-One

I love this. Who doesn’t like spending Saturday evenings drawing abstract clusters while watching movies and drinking wine. Needless to say I think I needed a quick break from realistic imagery to get myself back in gear. I was messing with a few different shapes that I like to work with regularly as well as some new. I feel like I want to try this again on paper that might actually hold up and take on more mediums. The sharpie in this image was curling the paper after only a few minutes which irks my OCD. Lets just say that my journal is currently under a number of books to flatten out the pages that are warped from the more saturated mediums. Enjoy and see you next time.
