I guess you have to switch it up sometimes! I was getting sick of painting although I think I enjoy the color from painting a lot more than a gray-scale image. What I do love about charcoal or graphite is the subtle shifts in tone that I have yet to accomplish the same control over with paint… at the rate I am practicing though maybe someday soon!
