This image actually was made before Two Hundred Twenty One but I forgot to photograph it and post, on that note I’m posting it now. The graphic lines in contrast with the more organic shapes is right up my alley. I will say I am getting a bit tired of this color pallet, but as I have not been “experimenting” much i have not had the opportunity to deviate yet. Maybe that’s a good project to start. Yesterday, after running around all morning I finally had a chance to sit down and relax. By relaxing I do mean working on a painting. Not sure what inspired this image other than I wanted to try something new. The bird is pretty sweet the saddle Idea I love, but lets be honest the saddle is so horribly angled it makes me mental. Suppose that’s why people typically sketch prior to painting! Try that next time. Enjoy!
This image started as a color wheel kind of thing that gradually grew into a bit more. Now the color is a bit overwhelming, but I do love the overall shape that developed. Enjoy and see you next time!

Small painting that I worked on the last few days, seeing how there was a huge snow storm that decided to land 2 plus feet of snow in our neighborhood!
This was a continuation from the other day. I was attempting to finish/resolve the page but I still don’t know if I am done with it. I was SO busy at one point so I attempted to dull it down quite a bit in areas while making some brighter moments of focus. I do love the close up though, the colors and random positioning seems new and fresh. Enjoy see you next time.

Well, I drew the little fuzzy bit yesterday but wanted to mix it into another image… collage! A little bit of everything in this image. It is busy but I love the end result. Enjoy and see you next time!
Big fan. As you can see apparently I was inspired by octopi (love this word), mouths, teeth and who knows what else. Honestly, it does not matter to me what the viewer sees within this image just that it evokes some kind of curiosity as to what it is. Enjoy and see you next time!
Can you believe it! Two hundred images thus far….
Sad to say it is a Saturday night and I really never had an urge to leave the apartment so when I got bored I decided to tackle this image again. I really like the way this image is developing. I’ve started to paint into the image, in the hopes of connecting the entire piece. I know it is not there yet but I am tired and want to sleep. I know who do I think I am… Sleeping! Regardless, the transparency of the lite acrylic washes in contrast with the super opaque color is wonderful. Interesting things are happening with the conversation between the graphite mark and the painted marks… curious! Enjoy I look forward to continuing with this image tomorrow, see you next time. 200!
